T he Towns Through Time app will give users a glimpse of life in earlier times, by displaying historical photographs from the State Records NSW (to be abbreviated as SRN on wards) image library in Flickr. Users will be to search for images by:

Typing the name of a location
Use Google Maps or built-in map to select location. Default location is current device’s location retrieved by location service on the device.

Towns Through Time offers a taste of NSW State Records’ photographic collection. State Records is the NSW Government’s archives and records management authority. We manage the NSW State archives collection and set the rules and provide guidance on the management of official records
